Shankar & Co was originally founded in 1987 as a Shankar Super Store in South Harrow. We were the UK’s first Asian ethnic retail shop and pioneered the introduction of many South Indian and Sri Lankan grocery brands to the UK’s Asian market. We are the sole traders of Kings brand products, ITC’s brands including Sunfeast, Aashirvaad, Kitchens of India and Yippee, along with our own brand of premium quality products.
